NORTH CORSICA WINE DINNER

We’re celebrating the wines and cuisine of North Corsica in September.
Known for its’ stark, rugged and dramatic landscapes, Corsica – La Corse – remains untouched by much of the commercialisation that has swallowed up the French Riviera since the 1960’s. Whilst it’s (sadly) easy to cast a rather lazy stereotype over everything Corsican, the wines hailing from this island are anything but simple, and we take great joy in presenting them for our second Corsican wine dinner here at Cigalon.
Alongside the four wines featured below, we’ve got another cracking menu from the kitchen team. The dinner will be £39.50pp for all four courses of food and the four wines too. We have all the wines in stock and will be offering them all at a special take-home price with the usual 20% discount on orders of 6 bottles+
Chef Julien’s main course of Wild Boar, Chestnut Polenta, Rosemary & Juniper Jus screams Corsica, and we’re very happy to see game season being embraced by the Cigalon chefs.
